BMO Marathon + Road Closures
Vancouver’s world-renowned BMO Marathon is back on Sunday, May 3. The marathon, half marathon, and 8KM races will all make their way through the West End. Please read below for everything you need to know about navigating the neighbourhood and road closures on race day.

West End Road Closures
7:00 AM – 9:15 AM
- Pacific St (Richards St → Seymour St) – Eastbound closed
- Pacific Blvd (Seymour St → Cambie St) – Westbound closed, Eastbound open
- Granville St (Beach Ave → Pacific Blvd) – closed
- Rolston St & Continental St – closed
- Beach Ave (Granville St → Jervis St) – Westbound open (local traffic only)
7:00 AM – 9:45 AM
- Beach Ave (Denman St → Stanley Park Dr) – Eastbound closed
7:00 AM – 12:45 PM
- Beach Ave (Jervis St → Denman St) – Eastbound closed, Westbound open
8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Block Party – English Bay (Beach Ave & Gilford St) closed
9:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- Pacific St (Burrard St → Bidwell St) – Eastbound closed, Westbound open
Stanley Park Road Closures
6:30 AM – 11:00 AM
- All roads in Stanley Park – closed (Causeway remains open)
9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Stanley Park Seawall – full/partial closure
