Davie Village Pride Festival returns August 3, 2025
After a six-year hiatus, the Davie Village Pride Festival is making its long-awaited return as the grand finale of the 47th Vancouver Pride Festival on Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Located in the heart of Vancouver’s 2SLGBTQIA+ community, the festival will transform Davie Street (Burrard to Jervis) and Nelson Park into a vibrant, all-ages celebration of queer life, culture, and connection.
What to Expect
The 2025 Davie Village Pride Festival will feature:
- Live music, drag performances, DJs, and roaming entertainers
- Licensed lounges and extended patios along Davie Street
- All ages fun in Nelson Park (2:00 – 9:00 p.m.)
- Local vendors, community pop-ups, and interactive experiences
This event is free and open to everyone.
Honouring Our History
This year’s festival commemorates two significant milestones:
- The 20th anniversary of marriage equality in Canada
- The lives and legacies of Chris Morrissey and Don Wilson, two cherished champions of queer rights and community in Vancouver

Concord Pacific Community Stage — Nelson Park – 2pm to 9pm
Curated with community in mind and hosted by Savannah Erasmus, this stage uplifts local queer voices and musical talent in a setting rich with Pride history:

- 6:30 p.m. – Leo D.E. Johnson
- 8:15 p.m. – Headliner TBC
Nelson Park will also feature an interactive arts zone with button making, ribbon crafting and colouring, as well as community booths and local queer artisans. ASL interpretation will be provided from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Nelson Park holds special meaning as the starting point of Vancouver’s first Pride march in 1981, making it a powerful backdrop for connection, remembrance, and joy.
Concord Pacific Celebration Zone – Davie & Bute – 2:30pm to 9pm
This all-ages, family-friendly space will be packed with joy, including hip hop dance crews, ballroom workshops, drag storytimes and a Bollywood drag extravaganza:

Curated by Celebrities Nightclub, this third stage brings DJs, dancers, and drag into the heart of the street party:

- Northbound traffic diverted to Cornwall at Burrard

Davie Village Pride Festival
- Several streets will also be closed from 7 a.m. to midnight for the Davie Village Pride Festival, including Davie from Burrard to Jervis and Comox from Thurlow to Bute.
Plan ahead and expect delays if travelling in these areas.
