12 Days of Christmas: Day 1 – Disco Cheetah

We’re kicking off our 12 Days of Christmas business feature, with a kick of flavour from Disco Cheetah. We know that one cannot solely live off holiday cookies and turkey in December!

Disco Cheetah began in 2014 as a local favourite food truck, sprung from the mind of Korean food enthusiast Kevin Lee, who hoped to bring a little Seoul to Vancouver. The truck could be found cruising around the downtown area and serving up a tasty mix of Korean and Mexican fusion, including tacos, rice bowls and their famous Grilled Cheese Chili Chicken Quesadilla.

Having developed a huge following with his food truck, in 2019 Kevin opened his first brick and mortar store on Davie Street here in the West End! This location was specifically chosen for our neighbourhood’s diversity and vibrant activity! The food truck also remains active today, and available for special event rentals.

Disco Cheetah’s menu is now a staple for many (including our WEBIA staff), and features tons of delicious South Korean street food, including rice bowls, wraps, Korean tacos and more. They also have an amazing selection of toppings, sauces and dressings to fit your taste buds and spice level accordingly.

This month in the spirit of festive giving, Disco Cheetah is teaming up with Vancity foodie @sopheats to give away a $50 gift card each to two lucky winners. This is their biggest giveaway of the year!
