Catch Basin Clearing
It’s ‘grate’ to prevent flooding – Gather some friends or family and clear some catch basins!
With heavier rain, falling leaves and other debris of city life, clogged catch basins can lead to flooded streets and trash washing into adjacent waterways. Help keep our streets safe and catch basins clear – join us at Jim Deva Plaza to learn more about the sewer system, clear some catch basins, and make new friends. Your neighbours and the catch basins will thank you!

Time: 10 am – 12 pm
Registration: Free – please register on Eventbrite to help us prepare enough food for everyone.

Bring warm, comfortable clothing. Catch basin clearing equipment and light refreshments will be provided.
