Honda Celebration of Light 2025
The Honda Celebration of Light returns to the West End on July 19, 23, and 26! This year features an all-Canadian lineup, with teams from Yukon, Quebec, and Nova Scotia lighting up the night skies over English Bay. Scroll down for key event details and more information about each team.
Festival Schedule:
2:00pm – Honda Activation Open – Located at Davie and Denman Street
2:00pm – Food Trucks Open – Located along Beach Avenue
6:30pm – Snowbirds – The Royal Canadian Airforce’s 43 Air Demonstration Squadron (Approx. Timing | July 19 + 23)
10:00pm – Electric Drone Show – Presented by the BC Honda Dealers
10:15pm – Fireworks Show

Yukon | Team Midnight Sun
Returning HCOL Champions of 2022–Midnight Sun Fireworks is an award-winning team of volunteer pyrotechnicians from the Yukon, known for their unique and imaginative fireworks displays. With the sky as their canvas, they create breathtaking shows filled with color, joy, and emotion. Every performance is a testament to their deep passion for the art of pyro-musical design, where light, sound, and creativity dance together in perfect harmony.
Quebec | Team Royal Pyrotechnie
Royal Pyrotechnie, celestial artisans since 1966, presents more than 500 fireworks shows each year. As a leading importer of pyrotechnic products in Canada, they distribute both family and professional fireworks from coast to coast. Their celestial artisans are passionate individuals who pour their hearts into their craft. Thanks to their experience and expertise, Royal Pyrotechnie has earned international recognition and is proud to represent Canada.
Nova Scotia | Team Fireworks FX
Fireworks FX is one of Canada’s leading fireworks companies and has been helping Canadians celebrate for over 40 years. Based in Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley, with operations also in Barbados, FX has lit up skies across Canada, the Caribbean, and around the world—from Japan to Turkmenistan. Doing fireworks displays in exotic locations is exciting but nothing tops wowing hometown audiences right here in Canada, GO Canada!

Public Transit:
Event nights you will see increased Skytrain, Canada Line, and Bus services to accommodate a large number of fireworks fans. Be patient on your journey – the show will be worth the trip!
Closest SkyTrain Station to the Festival is Burrard Station and the Yaletown-Roundhouse Station of the Canada Line. Numerous buses travel along Georgia St. to Denman, and the #6 will bring you from Granville St. to Denman St.
Kitsilano is serviced by numerous bus lines however, there is no Skytrain service to the area.
Biking:
Go green! Not only is biking one of the easiest ways to access the Honda Celebration of Light, it’s an environmentally friendly way to explore the Festival.
Driving:
If you plan to drive, arrive early and leave plenty of time to find parking. If you can, try to carpool with friends and neighbours and be prepared to walk a distance from your parking spot.
Road Closures are in effect starting between 5:00pm-7:00pm in the West End, including Davie, Denman and Beach Avenue. Access roads into Kits Point are closed from 6:00pm. Roads will re-open once crowds have dispersed and police have given their all clear at approximately 11:00pm.
