ABOUT THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD

The West End is one of Vancouver’s most distinctive neighbourhoods, where urban life meets the outdoors. Located in downtown Vancouver, the West End features walkable streets, tree-lined blocks, and easy access to nature. With the world-famous Stanley Park, English Bay and beaches nearby, the neighbourhood truly feels like the West End’s backyard.

Home to diverse residents and thriving local businesses, the West End offers cafés, restaurants, shops, and nightlife alongside parks and waterfront spaces. This balance of city living and nature supports long-term local economic development and makes the West End one of the most desirable places to live, work, and explore in Vancouver BC.

Our enviable location has led to high demand, amazing residential density, and wonderful diversity of people, businesses, and experiences. Over the past century, the three commercial streets of Davie, Denman, and Robson have connected everything together.

Located at the iconic intersection of Davie and Denman, 1800 Davie Plaza offers stunning views of English Bay and a hub of activity year-round. Home to Crossing Paths, a striking ground mural by artist Jake Johnson, the plaza comes alive with community events, summer markets, and our seasonal bike valet service. In December, it transforms into a festive space with our beautiful Christmas tree, making it a gathering place for all to enjoy.
