It’s non-negotiable — we care about our clients!” Tracy Doan, co-owner of Glossé Nails told us. “When we took over the salon, the previous owner was retiring and was really concerned about their loyal clients. It was a perfect fit for us — we knew taking care of each individual, getting to know their story a little bit, making sure our salon is a place clients look forward to coming to — this was exactly what my co-founder and I wanted. We’d been looking for two years before we knew Davie Street was exactly where we wanted our salon to be,” Doan said.

Biab goes on soft, so it’s a comfortable, pleasant experience. And Liquid Honey waxing is such a treat — an aromatically soothing way to get rid of unwanted facial and body hair,” Doan explained.
Doan and her co-founder, Kate Tran, are salon veterans and worked together for years before combining forces to create their own salon experience. “Our clientele is evenly split between men and women, and we’re proud to be an important part of the Davie Village LGBTQ+ community. All of our clients are extra-special, but Kate and I love it when customers bring their friends for a group-party in the salon!” Doan said.
