Fine dining in the Davie Village just got a bit wilder with Exile Bistro (1220 Bute Street) – a healthy artisan restaurant and cocktail bar with a primarily “plant-forward” menu, where ingredients are sourced almost entirely from small local farms.

Supported by ethically-chosen and organically-sourced items (as often as possible), owner Vanessa Bourget (formerly of Nuba and Heirloom), cook/forager Kaylie Barfield (of Nuba and underground restaurant projects Vegan Mischief and The Museum), and front-of-house manager/forager Camille Flanjak (of Heirloom) intend to create a constantly-evolving seasonal menu featuring the incredible natural bounty of the West Coast.
