#WEAre Retail: Eclectic Shopping in the West End

It is no understatement to say that for many small businesses, this pandemic has caused major and long-lasting challenges across the board. Fortunately, with Phase Two of BC’s Restart Plan coming into effect today, May 19th, 2020, many of our local small businesses are now able to re-open their doors with care, safety and customer experience top of mind.

In order to help our amazing mix of retail businesses, WEBIA is excited to announce that we are launching a brand-new pilot program designed to support our local shops as they re-open and resume business in a new way. Introducing: #WEAre Retail.

This program aims to encourage customers to return to their West End favourites, by providing a gift certificate as a thank you for their continued support! With the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, we know that we need to give our hard-working businesses a boost, hopefully introducing you to new shops that you may not have visited before.

Join us on Saturday, May 23rd for #WEAre Retail, and stock up on all of your health, wellness and clothing needs!

How it works: 

• Head to your favourite participating retailers* (list below).
• If you are one of the first 25 customers, you will receive a $15 gift card with any purchase of over $35.
• Take home your items and know you’re helping to support your community and your neighborhood economy (pat yourself on the back)!
