Waves in a Shell
About the Art:
“Waves in a shell” draws inspiration from the form of a seashell, with the surface of the structure articulated as undulating light tubes, resembling the natural beauty of ocean waves. Equipped with motion sensors, it changes its lighting patterns in real-time when viewers walk in, creating a mesmerizing interactive experience.
About the Artists:
Will Donaldson is a multi-disciplinary artist exploring the intersection of technology, nature, and mathematics. He creates sculptures using wood, mechanics, LEDs, and even the occasional robot.
Linfeng Zhou is an architectural designer with a passion for creating art that exalts the environment and enhances our relations to nature.
Find this art piece in the Jim Deva plaza from August 4th.
